Biken on La Palma
"La Palma is Rock`n`Roll for the soul of every mountain biker" - says the marathon queen Karen Eller and Free ride-Professional Holger Meyer. They assess the island as a "mix of Hawaii and Cuba - but only four hours away from home." What brings the two bikers into raptures are the spectacular mountain and valley trails with great views at the mountain ranges. An extensive network leads through the pine forests, another through the lava tracks of the lunar landscape in the south of La Palma. People who want to collect altitude can drive up to the 2.426 meter high Roque de Los Muchachos, and downhillers going through the longest run of the Canary Islands by two climatic zones. The island is also a single-track paradise - on difficult paths and flagstone trails you can improve your technique. The professionals from Bike`n`Fun and the Bike station giving with their knowledge of the plamerian rout diversity light into the darkness. They organize tours for each age and every level and bring the bikers via shuttle to the starting point.
