Locatie

The holiday house El Retiro is located in a quiet environment on a 1.500 sqm large property with organic fruit trees in El Jesus below the village of Tijarafe in the northwest of La Palma. Hiking trails starts close to the house. The famous brewery "Ceverceria Isla Verde" can be reached in about 5 minutes by car, the center of Tijarafe in about 15 minutes by car. You’ll find there supermarkets, restaurants, banks and pharmacies.

You can enjoy from various terraces fantastic panoramic views at the Atlantic Ocean and the mountains.

Buitenfaciliteiten

The garden of the house is organically cultivated. Guests of the house can use the vegetables, herbs and fruit trees of the garden during their stay. The outdoor area of the holiday house offers several furnished terraces and recreation zones. The furnished pool deck has a 3m x 8m large swimming pool (1,6 m – 1,8 m depth) as well as sun loungers and an umbrella. Above the pool deck is a covered area with table tennis. An outdoor kitchen with adjoining barbecue area completes the ambience of the house. A parking space is located directly next to the house.

Swimming pool 3 m x 8 m, satellite TV, internet (Wifi), washing machine, safe, heating system (radiator), DVD-player, stereo music system, barbecue, iron and ironing board, table tennis, hair dryer. Guests with a reservation of more than 14 days will get an invitation for a free Sunday lunch. Lunch will take place in the “Bodega”. The offered lunch and drinks is depending on the products of the season and the wishes of the guests: barbecue, fish or paella.

Slaapkamer

The house consists of three bedrooms. A small children's bedroom with bunk beds, a walk-through bedroom with double bed (135 cm x 200 cm) and a master bedroom with double bed (160 cm x 200 cm). The children's bedroom and the walk-through room are not acoustically separated because the ceiling is open at the top. The walk-through bedroom has no window. Quilts are provided for colder days.

Comfortable living room with leather sofa, stone bench, satellite TV and sea view.

Keuken

Integrated kitchen with gas stove (2 flames), extractor hood, electric oven/ grill, microwave, coffee machine, toaster, water kettle, fruit juice squeezer, hand blender and dining table with four chairs.

Bathroom with shower, WC and hairdryer.

Overig

The house will not be rented for a stay of less than 7 days. A cot will be provided free of charge upon prior request. Bed linen, towels and dishcloths are provided and can be changed if needed. An intermediate cleaning with changes of bedlinen takes place after 7 nights, pool cleaning once a week. The owner welcomes you in the bodega with its own wine. Smoking inside the house is not allowed! Arrival and departure: Check in after 3 pm, check out until 10 am.
