The holiday house Casa Saraswati is located on the upper part of a well-maintained property of approximately 1500 sqm with private access, in a quiet environment in Las Manchas de Abajo on the sunny west side of La Palma. Los Llanos is reachable in about 12 minutes by car and has restaurants, cafes, supermarkets, pharmacies, banks and shops. The popular bay of Charco Verde is within 12 minutes by car. The popular restaurant "Las Norias", the "Plaza La Glorieta" and the visitor centre of the volcanic caves "Caños de Fuego" and "Cueva de las Palomas" are nearby. Las Manchas has two bars, a small pharmacy and a health centre. In Jedey is a small shop called "Viveres Lalas".

In front of the house, is the 15 sqm large, wooden terrace with table, two benches and chairs with a panoramic view at the Sea and the most beautiful sunsets of La Palma. The 30 sqm large, wind-protected Buddha garden with sun loungers, table and chairs, invites you to relax and to linger, star-watching. Cushions for the sun loungers and chairs are available. During the winter months, a barbecue is available for the guests of the house. A private parking space is next to the accommodation.

Slaapkamer

The sleeping area is located on a one metre high platform, which is separated from the living room by a curtain, and has an organic futon bed (180 cm x 200 cm, medium-firm organic latex core mattress) with two slatted frames, which are adjustable in the head and foot sections. Shelves for books, reading lamps as well as a built-in wardrobe and an open walk-in wardrobe are available. For colder days, in addition to the two allergy-free duvets, extra blankets are provided to the guests of the house.

Woonkamer

Open living room with sofa bed (140 cm x 200 cm), sofa table, satellite and German TV, selection of books, dining table with four chairs and desk with view into the green garden.

Keuken

Integrated kitchenette with gas oven (3 flames, including one wok flame), convection oven, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, Italian coffee maker, coffee machine for pads (including pad filter for each favourite coffee) or filter coffee, teapot and strainer, thermos flask, water kettle, citrus juicer, toaster, cast iron wok and smoothie blender.

Badkamer

The bathroom has a 70 cm x 120 cm sitting bathtub integrated in the floor with shower, WC and hairdryer.

Overig

The house will not be rented for a stay of less than 7 days. From a rental period of at least 28 days, the owners offers a discount of 10% on the rental price. Towels and dishcloths are provided and will be changed once a week. Bed linen will be changed every 14 days. Beach towels are provided. Further changes of bed linen or intermediate cleaning are possible at any time upon request and for a fee. Smoking inside the accommodation and pets are not allowed! Arrival and departure: Check in after 3 pm, check out until 10 am. The German and English speaking owners are at your disposal for questions or wishes.
