Location

The villa is located in Los Pedregales, above Los Llanos. The centre of Los Llanos with shops, supermarkets, bars, restaurants, banks and pharmacies is about 5 minutes by car, the popular seaside resort of Tazacorte about 15 minutes. The Caldera de Taburiente is reachable in 20 minutes by car, the popular Refugio El Pilar in about 30 minutes. Starting points for hikes are nearby.

Outdoor facilities

The Gran Villa Palmera is situated in a spacious garden with large palm trees and old trees in Los Pedregales, above Los Llanos de Aridane, on the sunny west side of La Palma in an absolutely quiet environtment. You will find in the outdoor área a beautiful terrace, a charming pergola and a daybed in the partial shade of a pepper tree, an elegant, heated swimming pool with counter-current system and outdoor shower, as well as a boules court. Guests of the house have access to various sports equipment such as yoga mats, elastic bands, hula hoops and a rowing machine. The fully fenced property has an electric entrance gate with a bell/video intercom system. Parking is available in front as well as on the property. A charger for electric cars is available.

Bedroom

The villa has a total of three bedrooms, which are located in the rear areas of the house. Each bedroom is equipped with a double bed (180 cm x 200 cm) with organic bed linen, individually furnished and lovingly decorated with photographs and art objects.

Living room

The modern salon with leather sofas and bar is adjoined by a spacious and very well equipped study room. Both are located in the front area of the villa and offer access to the terrace in front.

Kitchen

From the bright kitchen with its integrated dining area, guests have direct access to the swimming pool and the terrace. A fully equipped kitchen with high-quality appliances awaits you. This includes an induction stove, an oven, a microwave, a refrigerator with a large freezer compartment including filtered and cooled water as well as an ice maker, a dishwasher, a toaster, a water kettle, a high-quality coffee machine, a blender, an electric citrus press and numerous kitchen utensils as well as herbs. The large dining table in Danish design from the 60s offers comfortably seats for 8 persons.

Bathroom

Both bathrooms are located in the rear part of the villa, are individually designed, equipped with high-quality sanitary facilities and each have a walk-in shower, a WC, a hairdryer and underfloor heating.

Others

The villa will not be rented for a stay of less than 7 days. Organic bed linen, organic towels and tea towels are provided. Intermediate cleaning as well as a towel and bed linen change for stays of two weeks or more. Smoking and pets inside the house are not allowed. Arrival and departure: Check in after 3 pm, check out until 11 am. A deposit of 800 euros is due 1 day before arrival and will be released 5 days after departure. The German, Spanish and English speaking managers are at your disposal for questions or wishes!



Art
The villa has a high quality art collection. The 20 metre long hallway presents, similar to a gallery, contemporary photographs by artists such as René Buri, Mick Rock, Mario Sorrenti, Dennis Stock, Olaf Heine or Mary Mc Cartney. In the bedrooms and salons hang photography and paintings by artists such as Jonathan Meese, André, JR, Richard Philips or Jim Avignon. In the garden, between the real palm trees, stands the large sculpture "Black Palm" by the British artist Douglas White. The old steel-belted lorry tyres show the theme of recycling and sustainability.



Sustainability
The "Gran Villa Palmera" was renovated in 2021/22 in a sustainable and environmentally friendly manner. For example, 18 photovoltaic panels provide sufficient solar energy, there is an e-car charger and hot water solar. Bed linen and towels are organic/Fairtrade brands and all cleaning products are eco-products. In addition, filtered drinking water is provided, so plastic bottles are no longer needed.
