The ultimate La Palma tour. From the center of the island at Refugio el Pilar we hike over 120 volcanoes to the southern tip in Fuencaliente. Overwhelming landscapes lead you through 500,000 years of volcanic history on the most active mountain range of Spain. We walk with you past the “Hoyo Negro” (black hole) up to the highest point of the tour, the volcano “La Deseada” (the longed for), where we have a picnic and in good weather conditions can enjoy views over the neighboring islands of Tenerife, La Gomera and El Hierro. Well strengthened, we start the descent of 1250m past the red volcanic cone "Martin" to our destination in Fuencaliente. In the traditional bar La Parada we sweeten the waiting time until the return journey with tipical La Palma almond biscuits. This tour requires perseverance and an enthusiasm for hiking. If you have problems with your knees, you should take hiking sticks with you.
